This Sofa bed is a totally awesome piece of furniture, and I’m sure that this sofa bed is the
best chooice for a small place. As you can see from the pictures you can have a beautiful sofa and a shelf durring the day, and when you want to sleep you can transform your sofa bed into a double bed. Just pull the back of your sofa, it gonna be a bed. This is really a perfect design. If you liked this sofa bed you can get one from Designandcomfort just send them an email or contact them over the phone. - Via - Inewidea

Anyone who has ever had to spend some nights on such a bed, as opposed to gone ga-ga over a picture of it, will tell you that this is “awesome” in principle only. Unless you’re already a corpse, and thus do not need to turn/ move while asleep, much less employ it for more intricate, perhaps motion-inducing purposes a bed might be used for. Having the largest/ heaviest element swing out, while the lesser ones are staticm is a recipe for frustration after the initial “awe” passes, despair with frequent use. This is yet another idea ofvthe too-clever-for-its-own-good variety. If it worked, then we’d sure see lots of variations of it in student housing, temp. accomodation and the like. Shame on ya for mindlessly promoting something that obviously is a paper product.

Do you know if Design and Comfort Furniture is still in business? There is a bank at the old location on Park Avenue.
Thank you,

I’ve slept on this kind of bed exactly once before. I have to say it was fucking
TERRIFYING, and that particular bed was anchored to the wall - this looks like a
freestanding unit. Unless the bottom two feet of this thing is made of solid
concrete or lead or is very very securely anchored in some other way, sleeping
on this bed is probably a traumatizing experience at the very least.
I had one of these (though not from this maker). It was great.
Took a regular mattress (up to 9″ I think) and was stable and safe.
The hardware let us take it down one handed. Nice work.
However, it cost big bucks. We sold it with our condo.
