Today I would like to ask my readers two questions. I’ve asked a question like this a few months ago but then I didn’t have so much readers. Today the RSS readers show that there are 723 readers, and I hope that some of them will have something to say, because I really want to hear your oppinion. So the questions are :
1. What should I add, improve, change to Freshome ?
2.What kind of stuff should I post most ?

I see so many contemporary displays of furniture. I would love to see some more contemporary structures/homes as well. I am in the process of looking for models of homes that I like the design to as a way to build my own home.
Also not sure where you are from, but most of what I read here are not your standard home in the US. What country are you in? Tell us about yourself.
Also, how many people (if more than 1) post blog entries?
I see your about page, will read that.
i looove your blog i found it few weeks ago when i was searching google for information about 3D swimming pools and i love it and add it to my google reader i’m not sure if i’m one of the 723 coz i copy the url and paste it in google reader i don’t click on the rss icon, this blog become my favorite ever i read it all even the old posts and most of them in my favorites now about your first question your blog is really perfect i don’t think you need to improve it just keep the good work and the kind of stuff you should post most is anything unusual and new which you always do most of the stuff you post are very new to me usually when i read blogs i find most of the posted stuff kinda old (to me) but yours always surprising

You do a great job blog post writing. I have to hand it to you, because it is not easy. I know that it takes a lot of time to research and write an article.
It would be great if more of the readers participated in comments and the community. I know how precious time is for everyone these days. I suppose, in summation, that it is more what we need to do as a reader community. You are doing a great job. John
Awesome blog, I have gotten so many design ideas for my home. I would like to make the following suggestion. Can you please post things that we can actually buy from stores that are not too highly priced. Something for the common man that isnt Ikea.
To be honest, I really wouldn’t know how you could improve your website.
Your mission to inspire us (me) has been working great so far! I am one of the RSS readers. I hardly got time to actually sit back and relax and just check your website out. If I do find the time to do that, I mostly look back on older entries. I’m satisfied with what you post

Hi, I read through google reader most of the time. I love the furniture pieces and things that can go to decorate a home. I’ll never have the money to buy or build an architect’s dream of a house, so those don’t interest me too much. (aslam’s point is a good one)
My favourite items for purchase were the stickers for the wall (from france), and the white grass growers – things like that are cool to see and I could really put them into my flat.
By the way, have you ever seen a patch of (fake?) grass in a square, hanging on a wall? I think I’ve seen it in smoothie bar in Brighton (UK) and loved it, not seen it online. If you’ve seen it do let me know as i’d love to buy one.

Hey, I love the site and I love the inspiration posts but I would LOVE to see more stuff to buy for your home (eg. electronics, decorations, accessories anything) along with links to where you can purchase those items. I know that posting alot of new and concept items is really important and I enjoy that but sometimes I get tired of seeing all these homes with really nice interiors and really cool products and no way to make my place like that. So thats what I want more of, oh and hire some more people it would be nice if more posts were made more often! Eitherway, your site is on my favorites and I check it everyday and will continue to do so until you quit I imagine. Great work and keep it up!

you already know i’m a fan and loyal reader of freshome.
i have 2 suggestions
1. it would be great if your readers could purchase the products you show (or at least as many as possible), maybe even directly through freshome.com. this may require a little investment, i haven’t done the math, but i believe there is nothing wrong with monetizing if this is in the interest of your readers
2. how about a section in which freshome presents traditional architecture and interior design from different countries? i’m from romania and i guarantee there is a lot of inspiration here, even for futuristic homes…

What you should change is: the style of your archives and kategories. If one searches something special, it is very difficult to find it, as there are is only a very short extract from the original post and no pictures in the overview of a kategorie/archive.
