Amazing 3D Swimming Pools

Swimming Pools in 3D – I’ve got these pictures from an anonymous person who emailed me, using the Send us Tips form, but he or she sent me only the pictures, no details about the artist or the company that made these amazing 3D swimming pools, but who knows maybe someone who’s reading this blog might know something and post comment. Now coming back to these swimming pools pictures we can see that the artist has just painted the side walls and the floor in such a manner that creates an interesting illusion, , when filled with water. Enjoy the Swimming Pools!

That’s so cool! Wonder if there is an angle where you won’t see it in 3D?

These are not chalk drawings, if you notice, there is water in the pool in some of the photographs. And the shark clearly looks like mosaic tile. And they’re laying the tiles in one of the photos. Hahah. But, this would probably cost you 1000$ a mosaic based on what my grandfather’s terrazzo and tile company charges and depending on how big they are and how long it takes. But yeah, they’re very nice mosaics. Makes me think of a roman bath house.

It’s really amazing to see other artwork like this. They obviously put their time and feeling into it.

and they actually look decent when viewing them at different angles, which is just shocking.

One of those pools belongs to a coworker of mine! The pool was done by Robert Vogland. You can see his work on his website: http://www.vogland.com

That shark is classic. I wonder how it looks from other angles. Cool stuff!

this is realy cool. But why would you pay for a 3d pool that you can’t swim in? It realy makes no sence. But it would be a bit cool to have one anyway I guess.

i have to agree with tigerlover why would you want a fake pool. why not go for the real thing. not taking anything away from the art witch is excellent by the way just seems like a strange idea to me
