What a load of rubbish that information is. I obviously don't think your friend know what shes talking about. Theres more to planning a kitchen than choosing pretty colour schemes and textures and appliances. I work for a kitchen designer, and there is a lot more to it than that. How about, the room around that island, can the dishwasher be opened and someoe walk around it? What is the client using the kitchen for? Theres a reason why there are such people as kitchen designers, unlike Susan Serra and the general public who dont have a bloody clue how things are done. Yes, this is sooo really interesting.
