Batti’s Placentero Chair is designed by an Argentinean designer named Batti. The outside sphere plastic surface is fiberglass and is finished with coat-gel which helps to erase scratches using polish paste. The seat’s leather comes in multiple colors. The name of this chair come from a combination of two words linked to the pregnancy period, “placenta” and “pleasure”, is quite strange.     I would recommend looking into designs by Verner Panton. Since the Placentero Chair costs between $3000 and $5000, I would expect a 2 person one that hangs to be near $10,000, if you want to go in a similar modern style route.

    I would LOVE to find something like this that would seat 2 and could hang from a pergola and be used as a porch swing.
