A Corner to Hide – Sofa Concept 

This sofa project is one of the most interesting pieces of furniture I’ve ever saw. Unfortunately, Edouard Simoens designers sofa is only a concept. From these pictures this sofa looks like a comfy hidden corner. What do you think about this sofa ?

    It’s look like “folded curtain”. If we look posture of people whose sitting on, it’s not ergonomic.

    Wow, ugly!

    I could appreciate the fact that this appears to be made out of recyclable plastic, pushed together to form this sofa, and I can see it being a part of an exhibit in a mall or something, but to be in my home? Not even in the basement! Comfortable? Not even the picture of her napping could fool me into believing that. It might be comfortable after being up for two days straight and no where else to lay….?

    endeed, it´s interesting as a piece of art, a unique piece that you can experience also by touching it, interacting with it.
    it can also be good education for public, getting them aware of the role of design, which is far from being just visual.
